Hydrocarbon Resin
Hydrocarbon Resin, also known as Petroleum Resin, is a C5/C9 aromatic hydrocarbon used in industrial applications.
Description
It has a tackifying effect and is suitable for use in paint, printing ink, adhesives, rubber and other areas where tackiness is required.
It is used in road marking paint. It improves adhesion, brightness, bonding, water and weather resistance of the film. It improves pigment dispersion and drying of the paint.
It is also used in the production of anti-corrosive coating, alkyd enamel, and varnish.
