Description
Sodium benzoate, or Benzoic acid, has found considerable application as:
- Anti-scaling agent and corrosion inhibitor in low concentrations;
- Paint and coating additive;
- Plating agent and surface treating agent (especially in metal production);
- Solvent (as a part of product formulation or mixture);
- Preservative for wood building materials;
